Use the PureSpectrum Marketplace Connector for Claude

    Updated at May 13th, 2026

Discover how to effectively utilize the PureSpectrum Marketplace Connector for Claude to enhance your experience

The PureSpectrum connector for Claude lets you securely set up surveys, adjust audience targeting and supplier allocations, monitor fielding, manage pricing, reconcile transactions, and review activity logs — across one or more PureSpectrum companies you have access to, all through natural, conversational prompts. Once connected, you can ask Claude to do many things you would normally do in the PureSpectrum UI — without leaving the conversation.

    How it works

The PureSpectrum connector is an integration you install inside Claude. After you sign in to your PureSpectrum account once, Claude can call the PureSpectrum API on your behalf whenever you ask it to do something with your surveys. Every action runs as you — Claude sees the same surveys, quotas, and pricing you do, and any change Claude makes is recorded in your PureSpectrum activity log under your name.

The connector covers the full survey lifecycle:

    • Set up new surveys with the right title, locale, completes target, incidence rate, length of interview, and entry URL.
    • Check feasibility before launching, so you know whether your audience is reachable and what PureSpectrum recommends as a CPI.
    • Add or update qualifications and quotas to refine who qualifies for the survey and how completes are distributed across audience cells.
    • Manage supplier allocations by listing the suppliers on a survey with their fielding performance, adjusting completes goals and CPI per supplier, zeroing out underperformers, or grouping suppliers together so they appear as a single managed row in the PureSpectrum UI.
    • Adjust pricing by changing the offer price (CPI) on a survey, when your account has the price-override feature enabled.
    • Monitor health and pacing to spot lagging surveys before they fall behind, and check whether a survey is ahead or behind its target.
    • Launch traffic channels — Replica, Specific Audience, or Targeted List — to send fresh traffic to a long-running survey.
    • Review and reconcile transactions to accept or reject completes after the fact, with a reason attached for audit purposes.
    • Search the activity log for any survey to see who changed what and when.
    • Get headline numbers at a glance like a fast count of how many surveys are currently live or paused on your account — useful as a daily check-in before drilling into specifics.

You stay in control. Claude will tell you what it is about to do before it makes changes that affect spend or close anything permanent, and asks for your confirmation on irreversible actions like closing a survey.

    Connecting Claude and PureSpectrum

The PureSpectrum connector is currently added manually using the Custom Connector option in Claude. You need a PureSpectrum buyer account with the same email you use to sign in at the PureSpectrum console, plus the connector URL:

    https://purespectrum-mcp-prod.purespectrum.workers.dev/mcp

The connector works in Claude on the web, desktop, and mobile.

    1. Open Claude and go to Settings → Connectors.
    2. Scroll to the bottom of the connectors list and click Add custom connector.
    3. Enter PureSpectrum as the Name and paste the connector URL above into the MCP server URL field. Click Add.
    4. Claude opens a PureSpectrum sign-in page in your browser. Enter the email and password you use for PureSpectrum.
    5. Review the access being requested and click Sign in & authorize. Claude returns to the conversation.
    6. You will see PureSpectrum listed under your active connectors. Start a new conversation or continue an existing one — Claude can now act on your PureSpectrum account.

The connector uses OAuth, which means Claude never sees or stores your PureSpectrum password. You can revoke access at any time from your Claude settings, and PureSpectrum will keep an audit-log entry for every action Claude takes.

    What you can ask Claude

You do not need to remember any commands. Ask in plain English. A few examples to get you started:

    Daily check-in

"How many surveys do I have running right now?"

"Show me a breakdown of my live surveys by country."

"List all the surveys I have that are currently paused."

    Setting up a survey

"Create a 10-minute en-US consumer-tech survey targeting 200 completes at a 35% incidence rate, with a 7-day field, pointing at https://example.com/live. Default the offer price."

"Before I launch, check feasibility for this survey against males 25–54 in the US at a 25% incidence rate."

    Adjusting audience and quotas

"Add a Region quota for California with 50 completes."

"Show me which quotas are filling fastest on survey 1198053 and which are stalling."

"Bump the M18-34-US quota on this survey from 75 to 100."

    Pricing and pacing

"What's the current offer price on survey 1198053, and what's PureSpectrum's recommended CPI?"

"Walk me through every survey that's behind pace right now."

    Managing suppliers

"Show me the suppliers on survey 1198053 and how each one is performing."

"Zero out [SUPPLIER NAME] on this survey — they're sending bad-quality completes."

"Group [SUPPLIER NAME] and [SUPPLIER NAME] together as 'Premium Panel' on this survey with a £3.50 CPI."

    Traffic channels

"Survey 1198053 is stalling — launch a Replica traffic channel so we get a fresh ID."

"List the active traffic channels on this survey before I launch a new one."

    Reconciliation and audit

"Reject these five transactions for suspected fraud and add a reason."

"Show me everything that happened on survey 1198053 in the last week, filtered to API events."

Claude will ask follow-up questions when something is missing or ambiguous, and will read back the change before applying it whenever the action affects spend or audience.

    Disabling the connection

You can disconnect PureSpectrum from Claude at any time. Doing so revokes Claude's access to your PureSpectrum account. Your PureSpectrum data is not affected, and any surveys, quotas, or transactions Claude created or modified remain in place.

    1. In Claude, go to Settings → Connectors.
    2. Find PureSpectrum in the list of active connectors.
    3. Click Disconnect.

After disconnecting, Claude will no longer be able to call PureSpectrum on your behalf. To reconnect, follow the steps in Connecting Claude and PureSpectrum. You can also use this flow to switch to a different PureSpectrum account — disconnect, reconnect, and sign in with the email you want to use.

    Troubleshooting

Claude says it cannot find PureSpectrum tools. Make sure the connector is listed under Settings → Connectors in Claude. If it is listed but not working, click Disconnect and reconnect.

Sign in fails on the PureSpectrum consent screen. Double-check the email and password you use at the PureSpectrum console. If you cannot sign in there either, use the Forgot password flow on the PureSpectrum sign-in page to reset your password before reconnecting Claude.

A request to update price returns "not permitted." Changing the offer price requires the Price Override feature on your PureSpectrum account. Contact your PureSpectrum account manager to have it enabled, then ask Claude to retry.

Claude says a survey-related action requires confirmation. Closing a survey is permanent and Claude will not do it without you confirming. Reply with confirmation when you are ready, or ask Claude to explain the consequences first.

The connector cannot reach a survey you expect to see. The connector acts as you. If you cannot see the survey in the PureSpectrum console under your own login, Claude will not see it either. Confirm survey access with your account administrator if needed.

An update to a supplier was rejected. Two common reasons. First, the supplier ID has to be valid in your account and the survey's locale — a supplier you do not have access to, or one that does not serve the survey's country, will be rejected. Ask Claude to list the survey's current suppliers and pick from those. Second, suppliers cannot be removed from a survey once attached. To stop a supplier from receiving traffic, ask Claude to set their completes goal to 0 — they will stay on the survey but receive no further completes.

For all other issues, contact PureSpectrum at psclaudeconnector@purespectrum.com and include the conversation timestamp — every action Claude takes is recorded in your survey's activity log, which support can use to trace what happened.
